GENUINE ARTIFICIAL THIN MINT COOKIE PREPARATION:

COOKIE MAKING

  1. Preheat the Oven to 350º Fahrenheit

  1. Combine the cookie ingredients in a large bowl, (do not use the non-stick cooking spray in the cookie dough) cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  1. Roll the cookie dough ingredients out just thick enough where you cannot see through it. Generally about one and one-half millimeters or about 1/16th of an inch – HINT: It may be easier to roll out the cookie dough on waxed paper or on a floured, smooth countertop.

  1. Using a small, roughly one and one-half inch or forty millimeters in diameter, cut out the rolled dough into cookies, remixing the remaining dough until the dough is used up.

  1. Spray your cookie sheets with non-stick spray and place cookies on the cookie sheet for cooking.

  1. Bake for ten minutes or until done.

  1. Remove the cookies from the cookie sheet and place on plate, countertop or tray for cooling before attempting to ice them.

ICING MAKING

  1. Melt the chocolate chips and combine all ingredients for making the genuine artificial girl scout cookie thin mints icing, preferably in a large, glass bowl if it is safe to use.

  1. Melt and stir ingredients together until the icing is exceptionally smooth and free of lumps.

  1. Dip each cookie individually into the icing mix, using whatever your particular tool of preference may be, ensuring that the cookie is fully coated with icing.

  1. Dry on wax paper or other non-stick surface.
