A complete systemici approach is necessary in order to facilitate viable solutions for local conditions. There will be different cultures among the different communities and tribes and cultural, social and even historical differences from nation to nation and even among different groups within all those nations.
Environmental concerns are going to be substantially different in many places. In other places, variations as simple as altitude will create entirely different and unique ecosystems within the same community developments and each and every one of those will need to be factored in for the overall efforts to be truly effective.
Thus, it is imperative that each and every project be wholly systemic in nature, while at the same time being adaptive in order to allow for it to address all of the local needs and requirements based on whatever restrictions, limitations and opportunities will allow at the local level.
The adaptiveii approach allows for provisions to be custom-made in any environment with full respect given to any cultural, societal, historical or other influence as well. The systemic aspect is what allows everything to be put into place as a singular, large-scale, multi-faceted solution that answers all of the local concerns. As all of the necessary pieces and parts are identified, defined and quantified, a fully customized solution can be created for local concerns, and as time goes on, this system can be adjusted as needed in order to facilitate the needs of the people and the environment.
The entire system must retain its adaptive nature in order to be capable of addressing the needs of the individual and the overall community, while at the same time addressing any and all local environmental, economic, social and/or other factors that may otherwise impede progress and/or prevent the local population from being able to take full advantage of the opportunities being presented to them.
The integrated approachiii to the Community Developments allows for a more inclusive nature in regards to the entire system collectively. It allows for the celebration or full functionality of the individual unit (Speaking in very loose and relative terms as it may be anything from an individual to a single component in a larger mechanical or environmental system) while at the same time allowing for the celebration of the individual or the group.
Human nature and history do show a tendency for people especially, to “self-segregate”iv along cultural lines and ties, it also shows a great potential for humanity to unite when common ground is sought out and especially when goals and results are shared as well.
An integration of all of the different aspects of society with the added benefit of the celebration of the individuals, cultures, histories and other interests of the individual groups that comprise society is the ultimate goal of the Community Developments but this is only possible with a systemic approach to the solutions.
The key to the success is the ability to provide common goals and objectives that provide a direct and tangible benefit to all of the people. Furthermore, the basic needs of the individual and/or the family unit must be provided for without creating a dependency class and at the same time providing incentive for personal growth, expansion and improvement.
Likewise, the Incorporated Systemv will be established in an entirely new fashion. Corporate and Not-For-Profit entities will be strategically integrated and operated in a close, cooperative effort to maximize the return for the individual citizen and the entire community development as a whole. The establishment of this cooperative effort is done in such a fashion so as to allow what would normally be corporate or shareholder proceeds to be utilized for funding further humanitarian projects and to provide a positive flow of proceeds to directly benefit the citizens within the communities.
Those citizens who wish to remain at home to care for homes and familiesvi will be able to do so in a fashion that does not force them to endure impoverished conditions. At the same time the corporate and not-for-profit cooperative establishment will allow for the reward of those who wish to improve their situation in life and their median quality of life without suffering undue financial consequences. This will include programs to assist those “stay-at-home” professionals who decide to continue their education and/or pursue entry into a more entrepreneurial work force for their personal benefit and reward.
Furthermore, the educational systemsvii as established within these zones will be substantially different from the more traditional school systems and the K-12 systems so prevalent in the western world at the time of this writing. The foundation for the educational system is based on a variation of the Rudolf Steiner, sociological approach to education. Educational systems will be a mix of classical education and vocational and technical training in various fields of study.
The students will be guided in accordance with the results of their aptitude batteries and have the opportunity to study in “real-world” environments. The technology will be such that teachers will soon be replaced by caretakers and support systems will be put in place allowing for access to educational materials and support no matter where the students may be learning.
Technology and Innovation will be a primary focus of virtually all of the Community Developments as will be built around the world. The Technological Automation Revolution is already here but will be growing exponentially as new and more innovative technologies are introduced. Among these will be the introduction of more and more automation within areas that currently require human personnel. Systems need to be developed and put into place that will allow for the provision of the basic needs for the people while at the same time allowing the human race to maximize the potential for automation and technological advancement.
These issues are addressed in greater detail in other areas of this book, but this is not some theoretical “possible future” but an inevitable reality that is growing exponentially as the technology allows for it to proceed.
Collectively, only a complete and structured systemic solution is possible, not only to end the current travesty that allows half of the population of the world to remain impoverished, but also to address the coming concerns that will soon directly impact even the most productive members of our society.
i The Systemic Approach taken for the development, construction and implementation of the Community Developments is wholly systemic and will change the way towns and even cities are built, social structures and concepts, and even how people interact with each other and the surrounding environment. It is in every sense of the word a systemic solution to the problems facing the world to day, ultimately designed to fully eradicate poverty and to provide equal opportunities for all of the people equally, without regard to class, social status, race, sexual preferences, creeds, or systems of beliefs and/or color or any other divisive factor.
ii The Adaptive Approach allows for (and even demands) specific and wholly unique approaches to the Community Developments dependent upon local factors and considerations. “Blanket” solutions have virtually always been proven to be ineffective and often decidedly more detrimental to the local area and the general populace. Work will be undertaken in cooperation with existing populations and experts from all sides of every equation in order to maintain a systemic balance.
iii The Integrated Approach is designed to allow for the individual and/or individual component to function more efficiently while at the same time allowing the entire system to function better as well. In regards to individuals, it allows more for the full and complete integration of the formerly homeless, indigent and/or other underclass citizens into society as contributing, functioning members of society without the social stigma often associated with being a recipient of social assistance programs or living on the proverbial “wrong side” of town.
iv Large cities around the globe often have sections of town wherein large portions of individual cultures and/or societies live. Some may be more famous or infamous than others but it should be recognized as a simple fact of human nature. “China Town” exists in many different large cities around the globe but there are virtually always going to be large portions of society that wish to segregate to some degree. It is necessary to ensure that such social and cultural centers are celebrated but not wholly isolated and that the goals of the overall community development are such that all of the people (relatively speaking) will unite behind common goals and objectives. These goals will generally be personal in nature, but should also have an overall positive impact on the entire community.
v The Corporate System will be established in such a fashion so as to allow for the community and the individual to directly benefit from the success of the Corporate Entities while at the same time, the success of the individuals will support and protect the success of the corporate entities. This approach will be explained in further detail on these pages but allows for a much more equitable distribution of funding without punishing the producers in support of those who cannot or will not provide for themselves and conversely, providing for those who cannot support themselves without infringing upon the ability of the producers to increase their personal worth and holdings.
vi An individual who chooses to stay at home to care for their children and provide for their family is not doing any less work than a maid or nanny who would have to be paid to come in and handle such tasks. In fact, it could be said that given the nature and importance of raising the future generations, not only are these people working, but providing a public service as well. Programs need to be established and in place so that the parent(s) who stay at home are not punished financially, but it also needs to be done in such a way that provisions can be made to financially reward them for continuing their efforts in whatever fashion (generally work or education) at such a time as they do reintegrate into the work force. Current programs for social assistance generally provide only further financial hardship for those making any real effort to reintegrate into society. This system will be further expanded upon as the Technological Automation Revolution expands and increasing numbers of jobs are lost to automation and technology.
vii The educational systems will be based on a variant of the Rudolf Steiner sociological and integrated approach. The curriculum for each student will be individually tailored to their specific needs based on the results of their aptitude batteries and their personal choices. (with parent approval for underage students) Given the unique nature of the corporate structure, students will not be relegated to learning in classrooms, but rather, be bused in to “real-world” environments wherein they will be placed with other students (of all age groups) with similar interests. A portion of their day will be focused on their scholastic pursuits, while another portion of their day will allow them to work together with professionals in their areas of interest performing such tasks and working with such equipment as has been specifically planned for them as a class. (The corporate entities will not be based on the more traditional “for-profit” basis allowing for the hiring of additional personnel to teach and guide the students in real-world environments, The students will also have the benefit of a “teacher” with them and access to direct links to professional assistance for scholastic and vocational/technical assistance in their studies)
