Both Ambil and Verde Islands are currently for sale and provide an exceptional and unique opportunity to capitalize on the current global trends for sustainable development and the current global demands for world-class vacation retreats. The Ambil and Verde Island Commercial Venture is an Incorporated Concept featuring an isolated economic system allowing for the maximization of financial return. This is further integrated and incorporated with both Humanitarian and Environmental concerns for the purposes of the generation of positive press and public relations free of charge to the corporate endeavors included in the project and operated by the project owners.
The project owners will retain the full and complete ownership and control of all of the corporate interests, including the logistics and support roles to allow for the direct “jump” from the provision of goods at literal cost to the commercial resale of these goods. This additional effort will vastly increase the proposed profit margins and allow for the creation of numerous humanitarian and environmental programs without incurring additional costs. Together, these programs will provide further benefit through the reduction of tax liabilities and substantially lower the cost of daily operations while still allowing profit margins to be maximized without incurring any additional costs. Local attractions will be land and water based, and made available for all levels of society to maximize the potential customer base and a continued return, even during off-season times when tourism naturally declines. Additionally, International Events will be held and sponsored by the project owners to allow for the creation of “forced” peak tourism periods wherein rates and returns will further increase while at the same time attracting a larger, more international audience. The initial facilities would be completed within the first three year period, though construction is estimated to be an ongoing process for a minimum of ten years and likely, throughout the commercial life of this venture at such a time as the original debts have been repaid in full and budgeting can begin for the first in a series of later expansions.
Ambil Island has been on the market for numerous years and Verde Island has recently gone into Holding through the bank that previously financed the purchase of the island. Ambil Island is just over two thousand hectares and Verde Island boasts over sixteen hundred hectares. The two islands are just over seventy kilometers apart in the heart of the Verde Island Passage and located within the tip of what is known globally as “The Coral Triangle”. The Coral Triangle, and more specifically, the Verde Island Passage, is known internationally as being one of the top three most biologically diverse oceanographic ecosystems on the entire planet. It is heralded by many of the International Groups and Organizations as a prime example of why Environmental Efforts need to be pursued. Verde Island itself is home to the signing of Executive Order 578 by former Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and will be the base and primary location for the environmental and agricultural efforts of this commercial venture. Ambil Island shall serve as the primary home of the larger resort(s) and land-based tourist attractions, wherein Verde Island will serve as the base for most of the open water and other tourist attractions.
The Construction within the Project will be “Sustainable Development” by all current standards, including those of the international groups and agencies such as The United Nations and others, allowing for the construction to continue, unimpeded for as long as it shall remain a truly “Sustainable” Development. All of the energy for the islands will be generated on the islands and all of the waste and by-products will be utilized for the provision of clean, potable water and for the creation of green, sustainable energy, in addition to providing key components for the agricultural and environmental interests on the two island locations.
Given the size and nature of the program, it will be necessary to create emergency responders, though these responders will also serve to protect the local ecosystems both aquatic and terrestrial in nature. Additional services will also be required which again, will enhance the overall benefit to the national system (wherein one does already exist as many of these programs are actively called for, though few have ever been implemented) and provide an added incentive for the allowances of construction and trade within the two island locations. The Purchase Price will be for the “entire” islands, though some portions of the islands may be contested by locals illegally squatting on lands included in the purchase price. It should be noted that both islands are currently inhabited by large populations of indigenous people1.
The presence of all of the commercial interests on island-based systems created an effectively “trapped” economic system wherein all of the money that is spent, will be spent within facilities that are owned and operated by the project owners. As was noted above, the continued protests by the inhabiting indigenous peoples will be a major obstacle to most developers, but working as they have, with the national governing board and many of the individual tribes and tribal people, the project owners have secured their full and complete cooperation in exchange for a guarantee of jobs, training and other similarly related benefits to the local communities. Rather than being an added expense, these factors, when integrated into the overall project development, will reduce costs and guarantee the cooperation of the indigenous tribes, and should serve to lessen the ability of the national government to successfully contest any of the ongoing developments. A minimum of ten percent of jobs will be reserved for the indigenous and ultimately, for other underclass citizens within the Republic of the Philippines.
The creation of jobs and other programs to directly benefit the underclass citizens will serve as a major contributing factor for positive press and public relations for the continued and expanded efforts of the project owners as well. Support has already been expressed on the local, national and international levels, though funding has been a difficulty for such an undertaking, especially in the realm of philanthropy and more limited, strictly humanitarian projects2. The value of this positive press and international support should greatly aid in the successful and financially beneficial marketing of the finished locations, including the resorts and other tourist destinations.
By retaining sole and complete ownership of the corporate entities within the project and on both islands, the project owners can virtually guarantee the financial success of the overall project as any and all of the funds that are spent by the visitors, will be spent directly within the commercial development and thus, be retained directly by the project owners. The corporate investments do extend beyond the primary development, in part in pursuit of environmental and humanitarian endeavors, though with two unexpected benefits by some standards. The provision of jobs including training for the local people and other underclass citizens of the Philippines and around the globe will serve to increase profit margins while at the same time reducing tax liabilities. The incorporated structure, including additional facilities (such as the commercial Cattle Station and Fishing Fleets) will allow for goods to be provided at literal “cost of production” rates while being marketed and sold at full retail rates.
This precludes the need to purchase a great many products from third-party vendors and also, at the same time, goes again towards the increase in profit margins. Stores within the malls and other locations may be rented out to smaller, independent or corporate business interests, but all will be making a regular financial contribution to the project owners in the form of rents, utilities and even as their employees spend their paychecks at local venues, many of which will be owned and operated by the projected owners exclusively. These programs will further serve to provide jobs, training and opportunities to the indigenous, aboriginal and the underclass citizens of the Philippines further increasing the philanthropic efforts of the parent corporation and again reducing the tax liabilities while increasing the profit margins.
The list of attractions will include a primary, “feature” resort, to include a marina, a professional level golf course3, private airfield and many “exclusive” options, including the ability to lease homes locally on long-term leases4. Additional resorts, hotels, motels and restaurants will be included which, like many of the other attractions, will maintain a ten percent employment ratio from the previous underclass citizens. Additional income can be generated through the introduction of small, more intimate localized cruise ships,
generally in the form of yachts, diving ships, an underwater dining opportunity and a large focus on the diving and fishing in the area5. The primary focus for all of these operations will be individualized service and an exceptional, personalized experience. There will be a water theme park, though it will not be the primary focus, it will be a major local attraction featuring roller coasters, a haunted house and other more marketable rides in addition to the water park, marketed for both domestic and international tourism6. This will be a viable means for generating a more steady, permanent flow of local tourists in addition to the more profitable, though more limited international tourism markets.
Additionally, International Events will be held and sponsored by the project owners to allow for the creation of “forced” peak tourism periods wherein rates and returns will further increase while at the same time attracting a larger, more international audience with a larger volume of disposable discretionary income. The completion of the Primary Resort location and the Golf Course will see the even highlighted by a previously marketed, International Golf Tournament with a prize amount substantial enough to draw a high-end crowd. Certain provisions may be made for the more prominent professional golfers who express an interest in attending. Additional marketing will be conducted on behalf of the international NGOs and other organizations such as the United Nations, in accordance with Executive Order 578 and the UN Development Programme for Sustainable Development internationally. Featured facilities will accompany the Livestock and other Agricultural Security programs in addition to the biological diversity programs and other environmental pursuits.
The initial facilities would be completed within the first three year period, though construction is estimated to be an ongoing process for a minimum of ten years and likely, throughout the commercial life of this venture at such a time as the original debts have been repaid in full and budgeting can begin for the first in a series of later expansions

The current value of the islands is estimated to be in the neighborhood of fifty million Euros, though such figures are open to debate, that is the Filipino evaluation, and once purchased, the islands and the subsequent developments can be used to provide further guarantee of loan payments in addition to the issuance of a Surety Bond through a top bank or other recognized and acceptable provider and/or through the issuance of bank certificates. Details for the management team, project managers and other personnel will be made available upon request, in addition to any and all requisite documentation for the commencement of operations based on an acceptable agreement for the loan amount.
1Both Executive Order 578 and the current (albeit largely “unlawful”) population of indigenous people will serve as a deterrent to most potential competitors. However, the Project Owners already work in close cooperation with the National Tribal Government for and on behalf of the indigenous and aboriginal people of the Philippines in addition to working in close cooperation with numerous Project Managers with a proven history of successfully established projects in accordance with the International Standards for Sustainable Development. While these will prevent most of the competitors from ever successfully implementing similar projects at these locations, they serve as a direct benefit and a public relations coups for the Project Owners and for the indigenous peoples already living in these locations.
2It should be noted that this is the first time that this project has been introduced to capital and/or equity investors for investment. Despite the commercial nature of the project on the surface, it is a complex, integrated and adaptive systemic solution to a great many of the underlying causes of poverty both within the Philippines and around the globe.
3Among the initial sponsored events will be an International Golf Tournament to generate more interest in golfing within the Philippines. The current level of golf-tourism in Malaysia is a notable example of how profitable such an undertaking is commercially.
4It is not possible for foreign interests to own land within the Philippines. However, a Philippine corporation such as a holding company can own the land. Through a land-management corporation owned by the Holding Company, the homes can be sold via time-shares or as long-term leases as they would be in any of the global “Free Economic” Zones wherein home and land ownership is not otherwise permitted by law.
5The inclusion of the commercial fishing fleet, even limited in size, will provide additional food supplies at cost to be sold at full retail, humanitarian job opportunities for underclass citizens reducing tax liability … and additional tax benefits will be gained from fishing out past the hundred mile markers where very few commercial ventures are fishing and the fishing is much improved, thus generating tax reductions for better and more efficient and profitable work.
6The Theme Park will likely be designed and planned by AstroTech, owned and operated by a former Chief Design Engineer for Corporate Disney.
